Had the pleasure of having work done by Mike and his crew. They did a fantastic job and Mike was extremely professional and helpful. Once they finished, Mike sent videos and pictures of the entire house and also completed a second clear coating layer as he wasn't 100% happy with the first coat, even though it was not included in the price. Don't bother looking for another epoxy company as you won't find better than Mike.

When a floor gets washed down every night, walked on with wet feet or hit with hot water and cleaning chemicals, it needs more than a pretty coating. Urethane quartz broadcasts coloured quartz sand into a urethane base and seals it, for a floor with grip built in, seamless coved edges and the toughness to take a pressure washer. How a Quartz Floor Is Built
After grinding and repair, a pigmented urethane base coat goes down and coloured quartz is broadcast into it to full coverage. Once cured, the excess is removed and a second coat locks the quartz in. Where the floor meets a wall, we form a coved base so there's no square corner for water and grime to sit in. A final top coat seals it; how much of the quartz texture stays exposed depends on how much grip the area needs.
The result is a thick, seamless floor with texture built into the system rather than sprinkled on top, which is why it holds up to daily wash-downs where thinner coatings wear through.

Setting the Texture
Quartz is the grittiest system we install, and that's the point in a wet area. But grip and cleanability pull against each other: more exposed texture means more traction and more scrubbing. We set it by zone. A kitchen line gets aggressive texture, a dining room entry gets a smoother sealed finish, a pool deck lands somewhere in between so it's safe barefoot but still mops. Cracks, pitting and old coatings are fixed, then the slab is diamond ground so the coating bonds for good.
