Commercial Floors Built for Forklifts, Chemicals and Foot Traffic

A commercial floor has to survive rolling loads, spills, wash-downs and a health inspector, and look presentable while it does it. We install high-build epoxy, urethane quartz and polished concrete systems for shops, showrooms, warehouses, food and beverage areas, kennels and clinics, scheduled around your hours so you're back in business fast.

What a Commercial Floor Coating Includes

Commercial work starts with a site visit to understand the traffic, the chemicals and the cleaning routine, because those decide the system. Then the same prep as everything we do: diamond grinding, joint and crack repair, and a clean, sound surface. From there we build the floor for the job, whether that's a high-build epoxy with a polyaspartic top coat, a urethane quartz system with coved bases for a wash-down area, or a polished concrete showroom floor.

Line striping, safety zones, coved edges and slip-resistant profiles are added where they're needed.

  • Site assessment of traffic, chemicals and cleaning
  • Diamond grinding, joint and crack repair
  • High-build epoxy, urethane quartz or polished concrete
  • Coved bases and non-slip profiles
  • Line striping and safety zones
  • Phased installs to keep you operating

Which System for Which Space?

Shops, showrooms and retail usually get a high-build epoxy in solid colour or metallic, or polished concrete where the slab is good. Warehouses and manufacturing get a heavy-duty epoxy with a chemical-resistant top coat and striping. Food and beverage, kitchens, kennels and clinics get urethane quartz with coved bases, so the floor can be washed down and there's no seam for water to sit in.

If you're not sure, tell us how the space is used and we'll recommend the system, not the other way around.

Working Around Your Business

Downtime costs more than the floor. We phase larger areas so part of the space stays open and use fast-cure top coats so a finished section is back in service quickly. Tell us your hours and we'll build the schedule around them.

How it works

Four Steps to a New Floor

  1. 1

    Free on-site quote

We measure, inspect your concrete and bring samples so you can see the finish in your own light.

  2. 2

    Surface prep and repair

Cracks, pitting and old coatings are fixed, then the slab is diamond ground so the coating bonds for good.

  3. 3

    Coating and top coat

Your chosen system goes down, followed by a polyaspartic top coat for UV and chemical protection. We inspect the whole floor before we leave.

  4. 4

    Enjoy your new floor

Walk on it in 24 hours, park on it in 48.

What Customers Say About Working With Mike

Five-star review
Had the pleasure of having work done by Mike and his crew. They did a fantastic job and Mike was extremely professional and helpful. Once they finished, Mike sent videos and pictures of the entire house and also completed a second clear coating layer as he wasn't 100% happy with the first coat, even though it was not included in the price. Don't bother looking for another epoxy company as you won't find better than Mike.

Spoke with Mike regarding our garage floor and the need to have it completed prior to company arrival. He said one way or another it would be completed and offered a tentative date. The week before, he called to advise they had a reschedule and offered to do ours a week early. Bonus! He arrived the next morning and dug right in. The following morning the final top coat was applied and the job completed. So very pleased with not only the response but the final result. Can't imagine a better job, so thank you one and all!

This company I had a wonderful experience with. They came to our home and explained how the process works, arrived when they said they would, performed the job well and left with a wonderful new basement floor, all cleaned up as professionals should do. Very pleased with the end result. Now for me to install the new trim come this fall. Highly recommend this company.
