Spoke with Mike regarding our garage floor and the need to have it completed prior to company arrival. He said one way or another it would be completed and offered a tentative date. The week before, he called to advise they had a reschedule and offered to do ours a week early. Bonus! He arrived the next morning and dug right in. What a Garage Floor Coating Includes
Every garage starts with the same prep. We repair cracks and pitting, grind the slab with diamond tooling and vacuum it clean. Then the epoxy base coat goes down, flake is broadcast to full coverage, the excess is scraped off, and a clear polyaspartic top coat seals everything in.
The result is a seamless floor that is thicker and tougher than a paint-on kit, with texture built in from the flake so it isn't slick when wet.

Flake or Solid Colour?
Most garages get full flake. It hides dust and tire marks, adds grip and comes in dozens of blends from quiet greys to bold mixes. Solid colour is the cleaner look: a single uniform tone with an optional grit additive for traction, and it suits detailed shops and showroom-style garages where you want the floor to disappear.

Why Not a DIY Kit?
Big-box epoxy kits are thin, rely on acid etching instead of grinding, and most have no UV-stable top coat, which is why they peel under hot tires and yellow near the door within a couple of winters. A professionally ground and coated floor bonds into the concrete and stands up to salt, oil and dropped tools for years.
